The way I would attempt to do those tasks is by first connecting them to what I am passionate about, the reason for my project and my commitment to it. Did that make it easy? Not always, but even, when difficult, it now became more fun to do, especially if I divided the work into smaller chunks and made a type of game out of it for myself.
In my case I would spend time finding that purpose, and I would not let anyone stop me from doing so, period, exclamation mark! Because having others tell me what I should or should not do and then telling myself the same harsh message without rhyme or reason does not serve me and ultimately anyone else.
On the other hand, when I am passionate about something, even the hard is easy or rather the hard allows me to feel my strength in reaching beyond it. Now, you need to do all these pesky little things. My suggestion would be to do thirty minutes of hw at a time. Take a ten minute break to stretch or exercise, then do it again. Then I would wake up at about four thirty to five to do my hw. You should try it. If you can, I have never tried this before by the way, get a study partner.
Always do your hw on Friday to watch television on Saturday. For every hour of hw you do in the week, watch 20 minutes of television on Saturday. Depressing news channels and violent movies. If you have a free period or study hall use the time to get your most difficult homework assignments done. Do your homework during lunch and on the bus home.
If you still have homework when you get home, do it right away. Like, an hour of TV, an hour of the computer a day. Spend other time reading a good book, playing an instrument, or going on a bike ride or whatever.
When you first get assigned a homework assignment in school, write it down in a planner or notebook. At the end of the day, number the assignments so you have a list of what order to do them in. The first night write a web or graphic organizer, the second night right a rough draft, the third night make corrections, ect.
